Except it acted weird when I tried to charge the pump. I cut the connector off the old battery and attached it to the new battery, plugged it into the pump, and everything seemed to be working great. It just doesn't have the same type of connector. I found what I think is an equivalent battery online. It has an 11.7v lithium polymer battery, 3S = 3 cells in series. I unscrewed 4 screws on the bottom and opened up the pump. Their response was simply "we don't repair our pump." Awesome, so they expect me to just buy another one and throw this $300 pump in the garbage can. Then I simply asked what kind of battery it uses and where can I buy one because it's not listed on their website. They asked for the serial# of our pump and then told us it's out of warranty. I contacted Spectra over Facebook and they were no help at all. I'm pretty sure it needs a new lithium rechargeable battery because when they go completely dead they can't be recharged. I left it on the charger overnight and it still won't do anything except blink the LED for a split second. Even plugged into the wall outlet it won't turn on. It hasn't been used in about a year and the battery is totally dead. We just had our second child and pulled the S1 out of the closet.
